About Upleadator
Upwork lead generation, run by people who did the job in house first
We are a Ukrainian team running Upwork lead generation for agencies and freelancers. Everything we sell, we do daily on live accounts — which is also where our numbers come from.
How this started
The company began the way a lot of Ukrainian companies have since 2022: with everything left behind and a new start somewhere else. Our founder, Kirill Chornyi, took a job as an in-house Upwork lead generation manager and spent a year and a half doing the work rather than advising on it — reading job feeds every morning, writing proposals, watching which ones got opened and which disappeared.
That year and a half was an education paid for in mistakes, most of them his own and some of them expensive for the company that employed him. It also produced the uncomfortable observation behind this business: agencies rarely lose on Upwork because their work is weak. They lose because nobody owns the channel — no strategy, no measurement, no one checking what goes out under their name.
Upleadator exists to be that owner. Not advice, not a course: the daily work, done and measured.
How we work
A person reads every proposal
Software does the collecting and the measuring, because the volume is beyond any human. But every proposal is read and approved by a person before it is submitted. An unsupervised pipeline drifts towards whatever is easiest to send, and clients feel that immediately.
We measure before we change anything
Search positions before and after every edit, conversion across thousands of proposals, demand and competition inside a niche. If we cannot show you the number that moved, we treat the change as unproven — including when it was our idea.
We say no out loud
Some niches do not pay for the effort they take. When the arithmetic does not close we say so and walk away from the contract, which has happened more than once. It is cheaper for everyone than six months of polite reporting.
Where we are today
Some of those agencies still work with us. Some paused because they had more contracts than they could deliver, which we count as the better kind of ending. Both outcomes are in the numbers above.
Read what we measured
We publish our findings rather than keep them as sales material: proposal conversion benchmarks, what actually moves a profile in Upwork search, and how to judge whether a niche is worth your time.
